We have specifically developed the Pro-AS system to give the highest integrity sample available in the market.
The MINKON ProAS sampling system has been developed by our engineers to produce extremely reliable and representatives sample quality. It has proved an invaluable tool for all Steelmakers requiring clean and highly representative samples. The initial argon purge removes contamination from the sample fill area (slag, capping material, insulation powder etc.), before a vacuum is applied to allow the sample to fill with clean molten metal.
The MINKON Slag Sampler allows the rapid production of a slag sample ready for lab analysis, providing additional important information for optimizing the continuous treatment process in steel production.

With the MinOX Oxygen Probes, online determination of active oxygen content allows immediate reaction to melt conditions. These probes have undergone intensive development to ensure a high degree of reliability and measuring accuracy for complete operator confidence.
Essential for the direct determination of hydrogen content in molten steel: the HydroVAS system impresses with its high analytical accuracy, reproducibility, simple handling and minimal measuring times. The complete HydroVAS Electro-pneumatic unit is a sophisticated PC controlled system and together with the robust HydroVAS probes is a crucial part of the control of the casting process.

The units can be used in many steelmaking operations to give dynamic control and reduce processing time. As our expertise is in the development of bespoke units we can combine multiple measurement functions together with sampling probes to produce a unit to suit virtually any application.
Developed jointly with our innovations partner BFI, the Dyntemp is a revolutionary method for taking dynamic temperature measurement in many molten metal applications. The DynTemp system feeds Fibre optic cable through a delivery hose such as ladle stirring lance to continuously measure the metal temperature during processing. The system allows for exacting temperature control throughout the operating process reducing energy usage and processing time.
