Sublance probes
The MINKON sublance probes offer optimum process control during steel production in converter operation. The typical measured variables of the probes include the bath temperature (T), the liquidus temperature for determining the carbon content (C), the oxygen activity (O), the sampling (S) and the bath level (L). Numerous experiences were incorporated into the development of the sublances. Through close cooperation with end customers and system developers in the steelworks, MINKON achieves continuous improvements and innovative solutions to optimize the converter process.
MINKON-Sublances are available in a variety of probe-sensor combinations, including TSC, TSO, T, TT, TS, TSOO, TSOS and TSCO. All common connector systems and dimensions can be supplied. Specific solutions and design enhancements improve the availability required for sublance measurement.
The MINKON sublances are developed and manufactured in accordance with the strict requirements of the current ISO standard. Our technical field service provides you with monitoring and recommendations to ensure and optimize system performance. This service provides you with valuable feedback and continuous performance improvements to maximize the benefits of your sublance system and gain additional insight into process control in steelmaking.
